Here we go.

It's funny how life goes on.

Have you ever looked at life from a different point of view?  Imagine looking at yourself like you're looking through a security camera.

Stuck in a corner, motionless.

Like someone had nailed you to the wall. And you were only allowed to breathe.

Whatever interrupts you today, will probably give in tomorrow. There comes a time in everyone's life when he is clueless about where his life is headed.

I was in such a dilemma the other day. It must've been around 6 am. There I lay on my bed with my phone in my hand, thinking about all the things that I could have been; then there was the reality.

People often sit and wonder what all they could have accomplished, instead of looking at what lies right in front of them. Some indulge in activities that are mind numbingly monotonous, like sitting and staring at a (computer screen) wall. All that leads to is unnecessary boredom and frustration.

I read this in a book the other day - "The lack of urge to learn is perhaps, the most insidious of human tragedies". Science tell us that our capacity to absorb knowledge slowly declines with age. Perhaps that is what happened to me. I had reached a stage where I was not looking forward to gaining anything from all that I came across.

Click. Read something. Scroll down. Read comments. Chuckle. Scroll down further. Close.

Total knowledge gained - zero. Perhaps my subconscious was aware of what was going on around me, but my senses told me that I had achieved nothing from what I read.

[I'm sure you can relate to what I mentioned above, somewhere or the other]

Returning back to the topic, I was still thinking of all that I could have achieved (I have a really bad habit of deviating from the topic and ramble around, excuse me for that).

There has always been this debate whether destiny is a matter of chance or choice.

I'd disagree with both.
It's a collective result of both chance and choice that determines where you'll end up.

If there's one thing that I would like to stress upon, it's that people often underestimate themselves. That leads to lack of confidence and ultimately, failure.

If you still remember looking at yourself from the security camera's perspective, you will realize that there's more to you than you actually express. Think out of the box.

And there lies your strength.

All you need to do is believe.
